19th June 2022 - RAFFI HAS ENTERED HER FIRST SHOW
We've been so busy here at Joelay and I have not updated for ages. Over the last few months Raffi has earned a ton of new DMWYD titles including two prestigious Triple Crowns! This week we entered our first KC Competitive Obedience Competition and she did amazingly, coming away with rosettes from 3 of her 4 classes - a second, a 3rd and a 7th. See her page under our dogs for more info. She's such a good girl.
12th February 2022 - RAFFI HAS BEEN BUSY
Today Raffi passed her Silver Kennel Club citizen award.
7th February 2022 - RAFFI HAS BEEN BUSY
We've had a busy January here at Joelay. As well as the four titles gained below we have been busy training for Raffi's CCF2 which she gained on 1st February. We have also attended two workshops with Kathy Russell and one with Corinne Wrend so we've done plenty of quality training.
Congratulations Raffi!
10TH JANUARY 2022 - RAFFI GAINS FOUR NEW DMWYD TITLES
I'm super proud of Raffi who has been busy earning four more awards. She's been in season so walks have not been easy. I also have had limited room to do any obedience training. Instead we focused on relationship, motivation, body awareness and tricks!
Congratulations Raffi who is now:
Graysenber Baby be Mine ATD SSH CCF1 2K9 T3 AA3.
Clever girl.
30TH DECEMBER 2021 - RAFFI GAINS HER AA2
Raffi has been showing off her talents again by becoming the first UK bernese to gain the AA2. She really is a super talented girl and I remain, as always, so so proud of her.
21ST DECEMBER 2021 - TRAINING WITH KATHY RUSSELL
Today me and Raffi attended our monthly training session with top obedience handler and trainer Kathy Russell. Raffi's heelwork and attitude was, as usual, lovely and she was really enjoying herself. Kathy said she is exceptional - that's some high praise i can assure you. Way to go Raffi!!!
18TH DECEMBER 2021 - TRAINING WITH CORINNE WREND
Today me and Raffi attended an obedience training day with Corinne Wrend who is a top IGP handler. We got some great tips to improve motivation and accuracy working closer to the leg. Many thanks to Corrine for all her advice and Preston Trick Dogs for hosting .
